Delinquency of a Minor

The concept of buying alcohol for someone who happens to be underage is an example of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A minor who is known for shoplifting may be confused enough in their life, they do not need to be associated with an adult who could lead them down the wrong path and most adults understand this fact perfectly well. It is very important if you are accused of contributing to the delinquency of a minor that people are willing to testify and make sure that a client is involved in a case where all of the facts are allowed to come out. Moran Law can make sure that you are not going to face a lot of unnecessary charges, people can be accused of crimes that they did not commit within the heat of an investigation. The process of letting a child drive a car when they do not have a license is contributing to a form of juvenile delinquency. It makes sense to teach a child how to drive, but it is also important to follow the law when it comes to learning permits. A good lawyer will make sure that a parent in Colorado Springs understands all of the relevant laws that are linked to driving. A process where a young person learns about the legal system and decides to never put themselves in that situation again is a process where the legal system works. It is also important that people do not think you are someone that ends up leading children down the wrong path. The fact that this conviction can show up on your public record is something that you should definitely want to make sure that people get the true story associated with the charges that you face. A good attorney in the area may also have to be skilled in the world of public relations.

Assault and Vandalism Attorney

I did not serve any jail time for smashing my girlfriend’s car window in a drunken rage. I can honestly say I really am a peaceful person, that is until I drink too much and people I thought I had a relationship with, decide they do not want to be around me anymore. I really still love my girlfriend, but when I saw her pack up her things and that of our child, I kind of lost my mind. I took a baseball bat and smashed the window of her car, hoping it would prevent her from leaving. What ended up happening was the neighbors called the police, and they took me away in handcuffs. I had the presence of mind to keep my mouth shut, except to ask for my one phone call. I called my dad and asked him to get an attorney to get me out of jail on my own recognizance. That was not going to happen either, because my girlfriend decided to press charges for vandalism and attempted assault on her. It was a Friday evening and the court was not going to convene until Monday, only then would I be able to have my time in front of a judge. The thought of spending the weekend in jail, was not a good one, so my father put up his house as a guarantee that I would appear in court on Monday, so I did not have to spend it in jail and allowed me to stay with him. I could not stay with my girlfriend as she did not want anything to do with me ... not that I really blame her. On Monday when I saw the judge, with my assault attorney present, a plan was worked out whereby I would have to spend 60 days in a rehabilitation institution, to dry out from alcohol, take anger management classes and obey a restraining order that my girlfriend had taken out against me.

Domestic Violence Attorney

How did I get help when my ex boyfriend violated the restraining order I had against him? I was involved with a man for 5 years, had 2 children with him, but saw the writing on the wall, that it was time to move on, when he continually would come home from work drunk and take out his frustrations on me with his fists. I was seriously concerned that one day he would hurt our children, or not be able to stop. I received a restraining order from the court, but it really was not worth the paper it was written on. I needed help, and I needed it quickly. Obviously, he needed to be shown that I was serious, and if it took an arrest and jail time to accomplish it, so be it. I needed a great domestic violence attorney who would assist me; to protect me from the man, I really no longer felt safe living with. I asked my friends for recommendations, within the budget I had, and found the most caring lawyer. He listened to my problems, promised to help me, and was able to work within the funds I had to pay him. The violation of the restraining order, he told me was enough to get him arrested, but to keep him in jail, would take further court appearances. I had to be protected, from the distinct possibility that he would not stop with hitting me, and get more violent towards me. He had a good job, living a double life and that had to end. He had to suffer as much as he made me suffer, and jail time would hopefully do the trick, but another issue was he really had anger management issues, which I felt he had never really come to terms with.
